The foundation is pleased to present three new stories from projects we have supported. Each shows a different way that people, knowledge and culture can move between Belgium and Sweden, creating relationships with value beyond the individual grant.
Three new stories
Bals et Roses is bringing Swedish traditional musicians and dancers to Florenville in Belgium. The festival creates an inclusive meeting place for artists, audiences and local communities.
Architect Michela Barone Lumaga is studying how Brussels renovates and reuses historic buildings. Her work will bring practical lessons, new contacts and ideas for adaptive reuse back to Sweden.
Publishing manager Carl Lindsten is introducing celebrated Belgian cartoonist Brecht Evens to Swedish readers, creating a new route for Belgian visual storytelling to reach a wider audience.
